Narcisism and Anthropocentrism

Abstract
One hundred years after appearance of Sigmund Freud’ text, On narcissism: an introduction; this essay suggests that the phenomenon of the anthropocentrism corresponds to social way to understand such phenomenon and, therefore, it shares their negative qualities. Narcissism is, according to Jacques Lacan, the key element in the production of madness. Anthropocentrism is an ideology that blinds mankind, and it not only causes the destruction of multiple ecosystems, but also the civilization itself. Curing anthropocentrism is the central key of a humanity that seeks to survive the crisis generated by the climate change and the end of cheap oil era
