Interculturality: a proposal to strengthen social values in a multicultural world

Abstract
At present, there is growing awareness that we live in multicultural societies, but this awareness does not mean you are encouraging the practice of values that allow a coexistence based on respect, recognition of differences and the construction of dialogue between different cultures. Interculturalism (other theorists call "interculturalism"), may be the way to promote these values. In order to promote discourses, cultural practices and attitudes from social psychology is necessary to start from philosophical reflection to discuss both the concept of multiculturalism such as multiculturalism, as both are used with different connotations, many of whom have served to justify racist actions, injustice and abuse of power by the hegemonic groups. This paper analyzes the multicultural social issues and carried out the review of these concepts through the application of Derridean deconstruction and the pursuit of "differance". Finally, a brief reflection on the experience of promoting interculturalism between mestizos and Indians is presented.
