Main Article Content
Abstract
Positive mental health at work, explains the state of well-being that an individual can develop in their respective organization and that allows you to have a full life. This article presents the results of an investigation that was conducted to identify the effects of authentic leadership on positive mental health at work. A sample of 389 participants was analyzed and evaluated through the Authentic Leadership Questionnaire and the Occupational Positive Mental Health Survey, in its Spanish versions. The results indicated that authentic leadership had positive correlations with the Positive Occupational Mental Health construct (0.25), and respectively with the spiritual, cognitive, behavioral and socio-affective components (0.22, 0.13, 0.23, 0.28). Therefore, the effects of authentic leadership on each one of the factors of Positive Occupational Mental Health are discussed, as well as recommendations for interventions.
