How do the women from Cuitzeo, Michoacan face their relatives’ migration? The importance of identifying their own psychological resources

Abstract
This document describes the psychological resources that the women from Cuitzeo Michoacán have when they have the experience of migration in the family, either because of the migration to the United States of America of their husbands, sons or daughters, nor their parents and other relatives. The research was qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Participated 24 women in several focus groups, and in semistructured interviews; participant observation was applied. There were reflections on the importance of the psychological resources used by women with experience in family migration and the need to identify them so they can continue developing and streaming them to other women, while enabling the participants to promote their own empowerment.
