Reciprocity in parenting and academic performance in teenagers

Abstract
Parenting refers to the care of the father upon the children, so that you can associate with the academic level and the occupation of the first, having impact on school performance of children. The previous comments are based on work with applicants to join the Faculty of psychology of the UMSNH. The sample consisted of 463 late adolescents over the age of 17 years of age. The design was non-experimental descriptive in scope. Applied instruments were proof of skills mentally primary, review of skills and basic knowledge (EXHCOBA), and varying socio-demographic questionnaire. Results report that determining the school performance scores rise as rises to the level of education and the labour occupation of both parents. This confirms: academic education and the work of the parents provided the parental role, which, among other things involves the formation of the children.
