Abstract

At present we live immersed in a capitalist society, where purchasing power of the subject is of vital importance, since it contributes to give it a certain status and a lifestyle
that makes it different from the others. That is why the need for consumption, every day is higher and more evident. In this essay, Edgar Sinhué Duarte, student of the modular year,
from the institutional-social area, speaks to us of one of the fundamental tools that induce consumption: marketing.
