Abstract
This paper presents the questions arisen from our research project “The Adolescence among the Medical, Legal, and Educational Discourse. Current Reconfigurations.”, in progress at the Facultad de Humanidades, Artes y Ciencias Sociales of the Universidad Autónoma de Entre Ríos. S. Freud asks himself about how is set up the necessary continuity of psychical life through successive generations. This issue is as relevant as a century ago. The essay tries to articulate an answer to this question from peculiarities outlined on the adolescents lives. We propose to think the generational transmission from the tension between memory and oblivion, because the way people meet with their own stories leaves psychical and affective traces that shapes the present of each individual.
