La propuesta teórico-metodológica y las expectativas de futuro laboral de jóvenes estudiantes de carreras de psicología y antropología en la ciudad de Querétaro
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article presents clinical sociology and life stories methodology as a theoretical-methodological proposal for social research in the context of a research about the future work perspectives of university students in the city of Querétaro. The relevance of this proposal lies in the paradigm shift in contemporary society, from an industrial cultural model to a cultural identity model. These changes give new life to the idea of thinking social sciences from the individual, as a central nucleus for the understanding of society. Clinical sociology, combining sociology and psychoanalysis, manages to create an explanatory framework based on the interconnections between the structural and individual aspects of society; and without being structuralist, gives a renewed value to the individual. Life stories, therefore, are a tool that allows to collect information directly from the singular experience and, thus, the methodology centrally considers the subjectivity in the story to understand how the individual understands, in a particular way, their role in a particular place and time in society.
