Case construction in Psychoanalysis: some structural elements and principles of its method
Main Article Content
Abstract
The following article analyzes four psychoanalytic works that have been located within the methodological framework of case construction. The analysis of every section and how they are presented has yielded a number of structural elements that characterize this methodology. Two of them can be considered as essential: the reconstruction starting from different discourses that refer to the case studied while the source of emerging is stated; and a subsequent theoretical reflection to allow the reopening, questioning
and reflexion of the theory starting from the particularities suggested by the case. At the end of this article, we highlight similarities between this methodology and the sense that Freud and Lacan tried to give to psychoanalysis. Standing out a rigorous research and reworkin order to achieve precision in concepts and avoid the trap of falling into indoctrination and dogmatism.
